I know there is no excuse for wack music. Its just some people acting if PR is wack now or something just cuz he rocks the 2kxl now. I was just pointing out that some cats are really stuck in this "it just doesnt sound like it used to do stuff". I mean, we've all heard it 100 times and its true to some point.

yeah C.Toon, Ntalec was talking about the capability of the secret extra sample time of the SP-1200. That's why he's saying if the emax did have the technique you could get 27 seconds at 28k sampling rate, which normally gives you 18 seconds, and I didn't have to look at the manual to tell you that

Yeah, your still confused.
On the SP I can get 15-sec instead of 10-sec.
If I could do the same on the Emax I could get 27-sec instead of 18-sec AT 28K

So please dont mistake me for opinions of other ppl on this board.

In the first place I said people should get off the hate-trip and still I made sure ppl understand that I'm no pimpleface-nuschool-triton-kid. I just try to find a way to accept hiphop as one thing, and even if i dont love the music that comes out nowadays as much as i loved the music when these classics came out back then, there is no reason to hate on people that PRODUCE MUSIC FOR YOU. Either you dig it or you dont.

Sound like you got it figured out. Get your manager to land some tracks on some indie Lp and MAYBE even a major label LP. Then you can show Pete how it's done:D Then when you start getting checks in the mail and such, but still most artist tell "they want something a little more
current". So,your manger tells you to change you sound and you breakdown and cop a 4000 and a Protools Setup just to function in the Music industries marketplace, then it will smack you in the head " the Music industry is all about money PERIOD !!" And Pete Probably want's to Compete with the Just blaze's,Alchemist's and 9th wonder's of the world (BTW, Pete uses the MPC 4000 now from what I've heard!)
