First impressions after 15 mins or so:

It doesn't fit my quicklok stand as well as I'd like!

Its wider than I thought it would be!

a bit of wear and tear thats to expected from its age, floppy disk button eject has fallen off, chipped data/volume wheels as per ebay ad.

Pads seem to feel a bit diff to my 2KXL, can't tell if its better or worse!

hi hat decay fader is a bit stiff but thats to be expected its carbon fader (which I think it is)

I've loaded a couple of the system disks and been tapping away quite merrily, looking forward to gettng the nitty from the gritty

also it seems to get fairly warm by the vent behind the screen quite quick, is this normal?

big ass pics attached below. Is this screen brightness normal?

Warm by the vents is normal.

Those quickloc stands are supposed to extend, you should adjust it to be wide enough, but a 60 really belongs on a solid table so you can use the armrest ;)

Your screen looks fine to me, 60's are dimmer than 2000's and such.

How do you like the MV?\

you can get some cailube at a music store and put a little bit in the fader at a time until it smoothes out, it gets rough as the old lube dries out. Be very careful if you get it in a spraycan, just spray it into a plastic cup and just use a dropper to put it in little by little while you work the slider to smooth it out. Too much of this stuff can damage the electronics.

Also do this while it is off and let it dry out overnight before switching it back on.

I've unscrewed the feet off the underside of the MPC so it fits on the stand properly now! 8)

Jealousy is uglier than hunger, don;t waste your time with it, it just rots your soul and makes you bitter little by little.
