You answered your own question. Use a vocoder. Google Orange vocoder and NI Vokator.

Thats not a vocodor. Its a talkbox. and it needs great skill to work.

The best to have totched it is Roger Troutman who later passed on his skills to DJ Quik. Quik is the only one who can work it with true skill. Fingazz uses it alot but it just dosent compare with the sh!t Quik comes with.

Go find some Zapp records. For those that don't know, that was the band that Roger was in before he went solo.

anyway...the micron has a vocoder on it.....but thats $400 retail for that piece...

Quik is the only one I know and heard of that can use it like Roger and Zapp. the Tube goes as close to your mouth as you can get it, just like in the video CALIFORNIA LOVE.

All triton's also has a vocoders in them as an effect but it doesn't even come close to sounding like what we are talking about here.
