Is it possible to Load ISSO (PC) formatted CD ROMs containing .WAV files into my MPC 2000? MY SCSI chain is CDROM -> ZIP -> MPC. Right now, when I load the CD all I see is ????? under Type.

i think you do this.....

1. put CD into cd drive and open the files
2. put zip into external zip drive connected to computer
3. copy files from cd and past to the zip drive
4 take out zip disk from external zip drive
5. insert zip disk into mpc internal zip drive
6. load the samples

does that work?

1. put CD into cd drive and open the files

Therein lies the whole problem. I can't open the files. My question is, does the MPC2000 read ISSO formatted CDROMs?

if you cant open your files on your computer, wouldnt that mean there is something wrong with your pc cd player.......not your mpc

i thought you wanted to transfer your files to zip disk

I created these files on my computer. No problem there.

i thought you wanted to transfer your files to zip disk

Here's the question one more time: Does the MPC 2000 read ISSO (PC) formatted CDROMs?[/b]

Do you mean ISO9660? It would help if got that right.

From the reports I got I do not think so for the MPC2000. The XL does not have a problem with ISO9660.
