Why are you saying sorry? I REALLY don't care what direction this thread goes to aslong as it has some good info so that later on people who are interested in learning about music history like I am will have something to look at for references.

jerzy milian is ill, i love the bazaar LP, and ashkhabad girl is an great comp of some of his unreleased work. one of my boys who lives in Poland actually got to interview Jerzy, said he was a real cool guy. I would add Michael Urbaniak to that list too, keeping in tune with the polish flavor . how many Janko nilovic LPs do you have? he released over 100 albums, lots of which were recorded under alias names. man, I'd love to travel to europe and just bombard those record basements.

I dont have any Janko shyt on wax. Normally I cop wax for listening or sampling. Janko's stuff is insane for getting creative and coming up with new ideas but somehow most of his sound isnt the sound I want in my samples. I always wanted that Chorus Library Joint on MP though MP05 i think?

I have some Library work from jerzy and also some loose shit he did. I love that sick LP he did on Muza, got a mp3 of that. Its crazy!
I also got that Stringbeat conducted by Hendryk Debich and that really is a maaaad funker yo.

I went to the library the other day and I forgot to let you guys know what books I picked up.

The NPR Curious listener's Guide to Jazz by Loren Schoenberg-This is a good book. It gives your the history of jazz, talks about the differents styles, and gives a brief bio of some musicians. Its a good introductory book. This is the first book I started reading and I'm almost finished.

The other books I got were biographies.
Monk by Laurent De Wilde (on Thelonius Monk) &
So What tthe life of Miles Davis.

I got some maad old dusty joint that already looks antique about most singers and players from the golden era of Jazz, back when it was more swing and soul.
I'll post some pics when I find it.
