Hi, my setup is a MPC1k, monitors, and a M audio keystation 49e, I am trying to make it so I can use one sample and play it across the keys in 16 level fashion. but more like 49 levels. Anyone know how I can do this? or if I can?

From my thinking the onyl way possible would to make a program in bluebox, and tune the sample the way want it to be spread across your keys. Or you could load the sample onto essentialy 49 pads on jus the mpc its self , and then tune it that way, which you could do it this way if you don't want to use a pc. If anyone has any better suggestions please chime in.

i dont think you can tune non-program stuff like drums from your keyboard or sound module or whatever. at least not on your MP. if you can, i would love to know how.

Screw it, Ill just save and get an ASR10, or some other sampling keyboard, those will do what I want right? Ill be able to sample something and play it across the keys? Then just sample that from the Asr or just record it seperate into cubase.

ASR 10 would be a good choice. the Triton (Studio or Le) with the sampler upgrade would do the trick too. thats what i use for dynamic sample pitching and mulittimbral granular sampling.
