nanoseconds?

in the manual it says its best to have chips which run at 70 nanoseconds or faster. i recently ordered chips on ebay because they were dirt chep ($15 for 32mb) but they run at 60 nanoseconds.

is this 10 nanosecond difference going to be noticable or mess me around?

60ns is faster than 70ns so it may work

Think of the Nanosecond as if it were an Hour of time. 60 hours verses 70 hours. Which is quicker? That's your answer..

It is an access speed. How quickly can you ACCESS that sammich from the fridge, in 60 seconds or 70 seconds? That's how your RAM thinks. How quickly will I allow this MPC to grab my samples from me, in 60 seconds or 70 seconds. The lesser the time the better right? (class says all together "RRRIIIIGHHHHHTT") JK haha

A nanosecond is 1 billionth of a second.
