so hey ive never owned a real good turntable, just sampled off this old wooden Numark i got from an ancient turntable enthusiast, so i have no other experiance sampling from anything else.
When i stop playing a record, and just stomp on the ground the levels on my mixer go way up, are turntables suppost to be this sensitive ? Ive had alot of trouble with way too 'airy' sound, until using the phono preamp on my electrix filter factory.
This just seems like a huge deal since this is the source of my samples and i want them to be optimum.. Anyone got tips besides going out and buying a hella pricey digital table or something ?
