I need a copy of the Emax OS disk pronto. My man just scouped one dumb cheap in mint condition, but don't got the OS.

You got any downloadable resources? If not, I'll hit you with scome scrill to express deliver him one.

YOu can use EMX disk to make an OS disk, but which Emax does he have? You'll need the right OS for the model, particularly for the SE and HD models.

Visit emulatorarchive, they have the OS's, and the Emax Yahoo group has EMX in it's files section along with other cool stuff like the different OS's, the SE update disk, sounds, etc.

One thing you will need is a computer with an older version of Dos, or an old version of dos on a bootable floppy (really easy to do apparently) to run EMX.

Barring all that I can make you a disk, just find out which unit he has.

It's the standard Emax Classic. Not SE or HD.

He doesn't have a CPU at all, and I don't have the old DOS.

So my options are;

Shoot you some scrill (sounds good to me..)

or,

Get linked to the downloadable (old) DOS, and install EMX etc.

OK, it's probably easier if I do it. let me know if he wants the SE update as well. It should work, I'll send him a standard OS disk, the SE update disk and a SE OS if he wants. Or just the standard OS.
