Delete internal memory in MPC?

is this possible for the 1k??

if you're talking about the factory sounds that load when you start up, just delete the autoload folder on the cf card that came with the mpc .

other than that method, is there any other way of deleting those factory sounds? just wondering...

I believe this is the only way . First off, I don't have a 1k , but more importantly those sounds that you say are in the memory are only in the ram . ie. once you turn the mpc off, all sounds, programs, sequences, every file you can think of is lost . The memory is reset . These sounds you want to get rid of only load up automatically because they're in the auto load folder .
I guess you could save the sounds / .aps file into another folder to keep them, but not have them loading up everything time you turn the mpc on if you want . But why not delete the autoload folder itself ?

If you want to keep those sounds just rename the folder.

EDIT>> dunno if that's possible other wise move the contents to an other folder.
