common problems with 2kXL?

tonight im going to check out an XL im thinking of buying. im used to the mpc1000..what are some common things wrong with XL's that i should maybe be on the watch for?

(for example, on a juno 106 there is the voice chip thing where every 6th note noesnt play in polyphony)

i know about checking the screen for dead pixels, uhhh so what else?

Always test the Pads! - If it got an Effect board or 8 Outputs check them too...

the most common thing wrong with the mpc is that to many wak people own them and arnt putting them to good use.
