What matters really at the end of the day is that 9th wonder knows how 2 flip samples. It wouldn´t matter if he mixed his samples in pro tools or FL after that.

Get them skillz sharp 1st and save a lot of money in the process.

Don´t think that coz he uses FL if u do the same you´ll be just as talented or that if u got Just Blaze´s gears u can drop a "Breathe" track on any given day.

Those catz got tha raw talents. Bottom line.

Yall Look,im from the oleskool,sp-12.mpc 60,eps samplers,an my whole focus was always the beat,if your sh..t is weak its just weak,i have owned a asr-10,mpc 2000 an other gear, came into money problems an had to downsize,on my down time cats was telling me i could rock beatz on my computer..i was like whatever untill i tried it out,an pretty much it was a wrap from that point,as long as i could reproduce the same results i was down wit it,the key was a quality soundcard an some type of controller.

.......................................................................................................

Flstudio is a gem if you know the fundamentals of beatmaking in the 1st place,NO!!! Belive me its not a toy by no means.its the garbage in,garbage out consept, its only as raw as what you load into it,just as with any other sampler,I just got a mpc 1000 on some street ish,an i just cant get back into it,ive fell in love with the detail i can view my samples in,an the instant editing i can accomplish with the cpu,its alot guicker..................

.......................................................................................................

i still enjoy the benefits of the hands on approach an the advantages of technology,do my beats sound any better?(NOPE)did i discover a more efficent work format?(YEP) an thats what its all about, use whatever fits your work style, you might say oh!! he just saying that cause he had to sell his machines, but 4real FLstudio has help me grow as a beatsmith,an i look at it like dis, alot of your hardtimes are just blessings in disquise..holla!! :?:

i gotta 1k and i've been rockin fl for years before. one thing why i chose
the 1k over fl was the simple fact that flstudio has some serious problems
playing those really low freq. if you play your bass let's say on C4, you can
barely hear it, then right after that play it on C5 and it'll crash your speakers.
if you listen little brother's record, you can hear the same results on the
track listening. the bass goes so low that you barely notice it in a basic
stereo setup. now if i play a 808 kick at different tunes on my 1k, i can hear
the lowest freq on my crappy comp-speakers. that's why some of 9th
beats don't bump, cause they're missing the really low end.

Wow that's old. It's when a beef starts and you think it's just gonna slide into a 3 day ugly, then someone just ends it nice and elegantly.

You did it once with me then it started catching on and people were ending beef right as it started.

Maybe it's cuz mattmatics left. ;)

If people want to be all insecure just because somebody with a computer made a better beat than them what can you do? Oh well~ Rolling Eyes
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

you've quoted me there but then made a point which make no sense in reference to my original point...so am a bit confused...eiether way i dont care how any beat is amde if im enjoying it....but the poibnt about not being able to make a beat without knowledge of the culture is bollox- beat making is an essentially technical process anyway

Some of yall really trippin on this thread with your focusing on what one producer has to say about a piece of damn software.

When it boils down to it its about a Producers Skillz.

Not just if he know how to flip samples, not if he knows how to sequence in fruity without a keyboard, not if he knows how to make bangers on his MPC

People the key word today is SKILLZ.

If you don't have "true" production skillz across the board Fruity Loops a MPC or anything else on the market wheter it be software / hardware won't save yo azz from being WACK! lol

Wack iz Wack, Skillz is Skillz, Software / Hardware, A Hot Beat is a Hot Beat!

But the realest thing i can say mention is the idea about not having a Million Dollar facility to produce a Hit Record.

Datz real.
