hi guys, wondering if any knows how mylo did the intro, this track slicing effect, for his 'rikki' song. been cracking my brains for days. have to rush for a short commercial. hope you guys can help. thanks

never heard it but if its the old slicer effect it may be a gate set to respond to rhythmic signal- many peeps will ahve a pad or something- record a drum rythm in midi- send that drum rhythm to a gate so it triggers every time a drum hits and then running the pad through that- means the pad will cut on and off but wont restart....

Great! thanks a million for the reply Dubmunk. i was wondering can i use an audio track instead of a midi track and send it to the gate ? any particular plugin you can recommend for both midi and audio?

I don't know the track either, but it sounds like something PSP Nitro could pull off.
