Brand New MPC 2000 contains??

allo can any body tell me what a newly baught 2000 classic box contains (i kow they dont sell them any more but when they did) i mean like mpc, manual etc. I ask cos i got a second hand one of ebay and alls i got was the actual 2000, a midi cable, the operating disk and 2 sounds disks. I cant see how im supposed to connect this to a turntable to sample so if sum1 could tell me what else im supposed to have it will be much appreciated

yo thanks classic, sorry to sound like a dick head but what cables would i need to connect my turntable to my MPC and also if i wanted to sample DVDs could i use the same cable

man, you gotto get a mixer or something to run those tunrtables into -- the mpc can't power them. When you do, the mpc takes in quarter inch. So get some rca to quarter inch cables.

And get a manual.

You need:
DJ MIXER ( i.e. gemini)

2 RCA to 1/4 inch cables

Scsi(MAC) Zip drive ( optional)

Headphones or a monitor

lots of free time

Last but not least.... a manual

and when u go to the store to buy the cables, get them to show u ALL TPYES of other ones as well, so u know in future what does what.

nah i cant scratch anyway because there belt drive tuntables i i dont wanna stretch the belt
