Hey guys, discovered a 'new' effect yesterday kinda like a delay/reverb but without using effects/resampling:

1. Set any sample to 'loop on' in trim

2. Change the sample's pad to note on

3. Go to the attack/decay window and set a large-ish decay (press the window key on the volume figure in Program)

Now when you hit the pad it should carry on looping the sample until it fades away, sort of like a delay. Sounds excellent if you pitch it about with the q-link...

Commonly known "effect" that has been used with the MPC2000 and MPC2000XL.

It's just part of the sampling engine. Anyone that owns a production rack sampler uses this all the time. And many of these have many more settings to use: loop direction, loop tune, loop crossfades, etc.
