There it was...

I went digging at goodwill yesterday, and as soon as I walked in they brought one new box. I started looking through it and it was full of the same old garbage that always comes in (kiddy records, environmental records, some 1920's **** and Herb Alpert). So, I decided to leave and go to another thrift store. The second I turned around I noticed another box of records under the table. I started looking through them and right at the end of the box, there it was...



Kool & The Gang - Emergency (De-Lite 1984)

When I brought it home, I put it on and the quality was good. Some songs had minor rice krispies, but it's ok. This is probably one of the best records I've ever found at a thrift store...


By the way, I don't think Herb Alpert is garbage, he has some pretty good sounds. I am just sick of always finding his records everywhere I go.

Weird thing by the way. When crate-digging up here in Norway, I also seem to find Herb Alpert records just everywhere I go.

imo, you should have gone with the 20's ish and possibly your fifth copy of that herp alpert reeecord. I on the other hand (breathes on nails, buffs them on shirt) 99.9% of the time avoid things from1984 and def if the cover is 'tarded.
