This means:

-the 2k is to be discontinued and replaced by the new MPC which has more functionality and higher specs, but not as high and physically big as the 4k.

-because of this it will be "safe" to release the upgrade OS for the 1k
(which is already written and tested) because it wouldn't bite the 2k sales any longer. Basically the 1k will become a smaller 2k with more memory and USB.

-1k owners will be happy, they waited patiently instead of buying SCSI and 32 MB

I hope MPC's don't become like the computer market. Buy one... and 6 months later your things a dinosaur and decllines in value.

There's a name and issue of the relevant magazine. Even a page number. That's all there is. What more do you need? A subscription? It says the room was secluded. I doubt they let anyone in to take pictures.

Before I posted I went and did a few searchs on google but nothing came up except MPC pad 187. So what now?
