good price for second hand MPC2000XL???

anyone know what a good price is for a 2nd hand MPC?

depends on the condition of the machine and the options. i paid mine 800euro. its an XL with 8outs, 32RAM, FX, 250ZIP and a copple of empty disks. its in good condition, you can tell its been used, but hey, thats the point of the machine no? i got a good deal, but check ebay and other second hand site's/store's, that way you can get an idea of the normal price. keep in mind that the expansions are a bit harder to find...

fully loaded.. FX, 32mb, 8 outs.. SMTPE.. a ideal price would be $900'ish/.. or lower...

a regular one... 32mb.. like $600-$700 would be ideal..

Ive copped many MPC's... im a gear whore trust me

Ive gotten a 200XL Studio for $650 is mint cond. (note: not studio plus)

I just copped a 2000 for $400.. but the screens bad.. but still readable

and... eBay is a rip off unless you check it 24/7 and snatch up those buy it nows that are recenlty posted with cheap prices.. or u get an auction that ends at a wierd hour when everyone is asleep and not there to bid at last minute...

And I see people all the time buying zip drives ("FOR MPC's!!") spenidng like $30-$99 on one... You can catch em for $1-$10 on craigslist locally to pick up or even on eBay.

same goes for those SCSI HD's and CD-Rom Drives

STUDIO PLUS adds 8-outputs, fx card, and smpte chip... usually options if bought seperately.
