:? I've been offered a mega deal on a original Linn 3000.

I've noticed fron using a friends that they sound Fatter then the 2000xl Also the timming seems to be on point against the 2000xl.

Anyone else find this aswell?

Pickin it up 4 800 plus Flightcase.

I found when using the XL Even with all those extra features that it sounded to mechanical!!!!!!

The 3000 sounds warm/wide/fat plus when your hittin those pads your fingers wont go through the plastic like the XL.

Try using the MPC PRG Maker for Mac ( It makes Sh!! quick)

The only thing i wish it had was the audition feature that's on the XL.

That is a awesome deal, what are you planning to do with your 2000XL.
You can email me at [email protected] if you plan on getting rid of it.

Swiss: The 3000 still has Linn's signature on it, that is how you know he was still down with Akai at that time. I think they gave him the boot a year or so later. He is still doing his thing though check out
