what the heck???

so i bought one record...because it had an awesome cover, and those types of record tend to have sweet samples.


but NOTHING..not a flipping thing. just a bunch of fricking idiots playing the gutbucket.


but i heard a drum break at the start of the song so i thought "yesssssssss"...but before it had played enough for 1 loop, some retard COUGHS. and what is even more stupid is that nobody obviously said "hey, you just coughed messing up the track, but since that's a major **** up and that we're only 2 seconds into the song, we'll start again." they must've been on a tight budget.

"last night changed it all" had telephone ringin on it so cough is
not really a issue....

chop the cough, and use it as percussion.

i picked up a fairly rare charles manson record hoping there would be something odd to sample, but its just badly recorded country'ish garbage

i'm not necessarily "just using loops", i was annoyed that the cough covers part of the percussion that isn't anywhere else in the break. i dont know if by advanced techniques you mean chopping up the sample because forgive me if i'm wrong that's the only other thing you can do to it

I love it when I hear people say they can't find anything to sample off of a record.

I'll find something on that bad boy! I'll go as far as hitting record on the MPC and just drop the needle anywhere on the record. But thats me though.....

Admittedly I havent heard it but ive got plenty breaks without a cough in it. At least lt's something different.
