VGA monitor output for 3k

yo, does anyone have or know where i can get instructions on installing the VGA monitor outboard on the 3k? just got really lucky and scored this extinct option and now i'm gon try and hook it up. just hope i can find the right connection cable though (mpc to monitor). anyway, thanks for any input. already tried mpc3000.com but no luck yet.

a regular vga monitor cable is all thats needed. you may need to go and pick up an old vga monitor though - shouldnt be a problem bet loads of companies have store rooms full of old computer kit they wanna get rid of. check the link...

Soundlogic has them, among others, Forat and VST sell them cheaper than most IIRC.

The members only MPC3000 list group at yahoo has a files area with the option board fitting instructions.

i used to have it and didnt find it too useful. it was distracting to look away imho. took me forever to find a compatible monitor tho.

i thought the VGA option was alot more rare than it is, maybe ill have to order one next paycheck. I cant beleive the mpc 4k doesnt have a VGA out, seems it needs one alot more than the 3k, the grid edit would be nice to have big on screen
