Digi 001 to 2kxl (time code) HELP!!

Any one know how I can send time code from Pro Tools to the 2kxl??
(Or even have Pro Tools recieve it?)

send beat clock, not time code. set up mpc to receive beat clock, send it out of pt. its in the midi section. this will lock you up tighter than time code.

I've tried synching these two pieces via this method, but I found that the SWING settings in my patterns don't work when I use midi beat clock.
Does anyone know how to fix that?

check the input quantization. if it is set it will snap whatever midi is coming in to the grid therefore losing all swing. i assume you are having this problem while printing midi.

No, the only midi I have going into the MPC is the Midi Beat Clock from ProTools.

I set up ProTools sending MidiBeatClock, and the MPC recieving MidiBeatClock...........but when I press play on ProTools (which starts the MPC sequencer playing) the MPC's sequence plays, but without the SWING that I have set.

I'm using no external sounds or sequences. Just internal samples and sequences on the MPC.

HELP!!!!!!!!

I use MTC to sync the MPC to PT. Make sure to select the same frame rate in PT and the MPC. Set the tempo in PT to the same tempo as the sequence in the MPC. MPC midi out> midi device in> Select the midi out in the MPC sync screen> select the midi device in PT> click on the "wait for midi" button in the transport bar in PT> Arm the track in PT> Click on the record buton on the transport bar> Push play on the MPC, PT should start recording in sync with the MPC.
