I have the 1000 and all of the sudden when I go to record mode, there is a really loud hissing noise coming from my speakers. Also sometimes I'll put my needle at the start of the record and it wont play anything, I'll have to move the needle around and hope it catches somewhere. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I just started sampling on my new 1k and the hiss is like shit i never heard.
my mixer is old but fine.

i must try sampling some OOOOOld Skool 12 bit hiss and see if it loses any phatness

Before you go buy a whole new turntable check the cables. Bad cables can cause hissing also.
