I'm here to talk MPC's and yes I help a lot of people and people help me, that is what this place is for, not to show off. Anyhow I understand what you are going through, I have had friends from Africa who have had the same problem and it is very difficult, you may have had some further trauma because they were never assho les like you are being, but regardless, this doesnt protect you it only increases your pain. I hope you do find resolution for your problems, I guess all this is just some sort of attention getting thing to get some kind of help, but I am not a professional, but I suggest you be careful if you do decide to go to a professional, some of them can mess you up worse, but if you find a good one, then maybe you can learn to live with your problem. Regardless, It's OK, people have bigger secrets, and shame is just a waste of time.

I never said I do not have problems, nor have I ever said the 60 is the best for everybody, I enjoy it. I help people, 8 times a day is nothing. I pop in here much like you do, I can read very fast, and then I'm off again. It used to be very rewarding, there was a lot I learned here, and I was fortunate enough to be able to help people understand their machines (not just 60's, lots of different gear) and other people helped me do the same, so those 8 posts a day were helpin me. Now it's just going to shyt and all the cats that would school me on the regular don;t even show up because of this idiot invasion. So I think you are right, I do post here too much, and I will address that problem, cuz I am not getting as much from it as I used too, so droppin this forum from my routine is probably best. But I got somethiung from my time here, where I don't think you do at all.

I guess I have strong opinions, but I haven't really heard much about your gear opinions, I never called out and said something was useless or sucks, and I don't get how you can act all high and mighty but never endorse anything. What do you use at home? At the studio you can use a bunch of stuff, but what's your gear of choice? never heard that opinion from you. I would actually like to know. I think you could actually contribute greatly but you've got some serious problem. if you are such a hot shot why waste your time with us. all we talk about is MPC's, shouldn't you be on some forum about SSL's and what mics are best for whatever? Are you an engineer, or an Ass. Engineer? a Tech, Session musician, PT tech / operator? Why don't you chime in what you find good, instead of saying all this is Bad etc.

Pete does use the sp. I heard Pete Rock describe his gear in person 3 weeks ago, he said, SP-1200, and his new toy, the XL, which he is having fun learning new things about. He went on about the 1200 for a while and mentioned it first. So don't act like he'd back you up dissing the 1200.

Actually if you look at ALL my posts you WILL find out what gear I use, not all of it but gear in my studio none the less. I live by the ASR-10, I've said this MANY times. It's a vintage piece that still works well with MY setup. I said the SP didn't fit into MY setup and all hell broke loose from the "Golden Era" camp. Why is that? Some of ya'll are the biggest phonies Hiphop was and then you wonder why most people aren't feelin' your style of music... These are other pieces of gear I swear by:

This is the attitude that bothers me. People who think they can "make rules" on what hip hop is when,they are not from the community that created Hip Hop. I remember when this Rapper from People Under The Stairs said,"Back in the park the weren't using keyboards." But,Marly Marl used to Bring this turntables out to the Park and play with real Musicans.

Example: You get forget that much of Hip Hop in the Late 80's-early 90's was PRO BLACK : The Poor righteous Teachers, X Clan Public Enemy, Brand Nubians Even Wu Tang Belong to the 5% Nation of Islam, a group that Believes The White man is the Devil and the Black is GOD.These Groups,Spinkled there Lyrics with with rhymes about Devils, yet STILL are considered to have dropped some of the best LP's of all time!!(Let's Not even Talk about Ice Cube or the Geto Boys).

Today, If Nelly, Jay-Z (Who was down with the Ansars) or 50 cent made songs like Brand Nubian or PRT ,They'd be all but BANNED!! So, Instead of Addressing Social Problems Labels Force Rappers to Make 90% of there songs about Partying, Getting Drink, Killing there own People thru Drugs and Guns (doing America's Dirty Work), and Disrespecting Black Women. So like Lo Pass said somethings YOU CANNOT POSSIBILY UNDERSTAND!! My Point is you don't Have the Authority to Make rules on Hip Hop.
