I load 4 disks, have 32MB MEM, and when I load them they don't show up in the track listings under Drum 1,2,3,4 etc, only the last shows. I check MEM and they are loaded, but I can't see them. The only options are progA, ProgB, I think. How can I utilize more than one program at the same time in a sequence? MIDI I have no problems with, just programs.

When you load make sure you dont erase the other programs. There is a ADD CLEAR and ERASE, make sure you hit the correct one. I always chose ADD.

I think that is the one I was using, it states that you can ADD to existing. But they drop.

Here are two ways to load multiple programs. Load the first program then go to track 2 and change from drum1 to drum2 and load the next program and so on until all the programs you want to use are loaded up-or-Load up all the programs you want to use and then press Shift/Program> press the soft key for the drum program you want(drum1,drum2,etc.)scroll through the available programs. Make sure your loading pgm. files and not aps. files and as Lampdog said make sure your pressing load, not clear.

No prob, I did the same thing when I first go my MPC2kxl. I was erasing and loading over many programs and didn't understand what was going on.
