Hiya... new here with mpc 1000.

I believe I read something about random clicks when playing samples in this forum, but I can't find it, so here goes another post.

I've bought my mpc on ebay, fully expanded to 128 mb and it works without any problems, except for the bl--dy clicks appearing completely at random.

Anyone experienced this?

Cheers,

/Pingu

I usually fix my samples in Adobe Audition, but this stuff happens also when I sample my Virus. Example. I record some VSTs from Cubase, save it as a 24-bit WAV. Then I import it into Audition -trim it and convert it into 16 bits (stereo). Then I transfer it into the mpc where I usually trim and loop it before saving it.

Using normal unbalanced cables all the way.

When I say random clicks appear, I mean random. If I play a bass sound for instance, one time it can be completely click-free, but next time it got some nasty clicks in it.

Try using a little decay and attack on those samples?
