OK my turn to ask a dumb question

this isnt in the manual.

Im formatting about 200 floppies today, getting it over with so I dont have to worry about it later.

Since they are Double Sided Double Density...

Does that mean I have to format both sides of the disk? Like flip it over, put it back in and hit format again? Or does formatting take care of that for me?
