When your doing "double kicks," it sounds better when the first kick has a lower volume than the second kick (i.e. KD 01=100, KD 02=85/90).
Now, say I sample a break off a record, and all the kicks on that break sound the same. Extract one of the kick's, assign it to a pad, and sequence it using the 16 LEVELS>VELOCITY feature. Using this feature really helps your double kicks sound better...
