Akai does this from time to time. the deal was all you had to do was purchase your 1000 between a certain date and send them your proof of purchase, serial number and the coupon and they would send it to you. when i got my 1000 the freebies what a 128mb Compact Flash card.

at the bottom it says "US only"...

I got the headphones from the dealer, some Sony phones. The 128MB RAM was a rebate through Akai.

i just got mine and i was wonderin where i find the serial number on it ?

you will see it on the box and on the bottom of the mpc. it's on a bar code and i believe it starts with a "09"
