sample cd

I have a bunch of sample cd's with some tight synth loops. The loops are live but the instrument that they use is a buch of BS and I wanted to know is there a way to be able to change the sound to a different one.. for example lets say i have a brass loop wav file, But i think it would sound better if it was a french horn. Is there any program, vst instrument, plug-in, or hardware that will allow me to do this..

There's no software that can alter an already existing instrument wav like how you are talking.

The 1 and only calhoun.. Yeah in this production bs I just started playin aorund wit software and my mpc and loops and all that just to get a feel for tha software part of tha game....

What makes you wanna do the production side up? The rap is tightwork already. Mo Money? Of course right?

The only thing you can do is copy the riff using the sound you want.

Seriously, hire a session musician and re-record. Plus you'll get a bunch of other loops and riffs as well. If it's an instrument that can output MIDI, even better - record all performances as MIDI and chop and change sounds to your hearts delight.

can make midi out of audio files, then you use whatever instrument you want to play the midi file
