sampling

i just bought over 300 records from an old lady who was moving. i hit the mother load. anyway my question is, how do get the bpm for th sample on point. i tried searching it to no avail....please help i have some serious heat wit these recs

use this formula...

60/sample length in secs X 4 quarter notes

or you could just ballpark it and do trial and error

Or you could follow the first link in my sig and look for the "deepsound" website link that has a timestretch calculator you can use.

why do u need to know the bpm just find sounds that sound good 2gether and done.

or u can simply tempo tap, which is the easiest and quickest way to find the bpm, no mathematics needed
