Adding a Rack

Im thinking about getting adding a rack to my set up... right now i have a Roland Juno D, 1k, and a Korg d1200

the juno d has 1 set of midi outs

the 1k has 2 sets

and my Korg has 1 set

The problem is that right now all my midi outs are used up... I have the 1k and the judo connected, and the 1k and the korg connected. I want to be able to hook up a rack to my 1k and also to my juno while keeping everything still connected though midi.

Can someone let me know how i would do this

MIDI thru connection
or
midi splitter box (1 in, several outs)
go from the mpc to the juno d, jundo d 2 new rack
1 midi connection has 16 channels, so in theory you can connect everything via other gear´s midi thru and setup every device on a different midi channel. You will notice latency if you reach the 16th device this way.
You can connect 32 physical devices to the mpc, each with its own midi channel

will i be able to use the rack sounds on my juno D the same way i use the sounds that are already on there?

I dont know anything about the Juno D (igital?), I assume it has a MIDI thru port

How do you mean? I thought the Juno-D was a synth without sampling capabilities?

i dont want to sample the rack sounds...i want to be able to trigger the rack sounds from my juno the same way u can trigger the mpc sounds with the juno

A MIDI thru port provides a copy of the MIDI signal arriving at a corresponding MIDI in port. The data from the MIDI THRU socket can then go forward to the MIDI IN socket of another receiving device. Some devices, especially older drum machines, do not have a MIDI thru connection; a device without a MIDI thru connector must be placed at the end of a MIDI chain. To make life easier, there are simple hardware gadgets called MIDI Thru Units or splitters.

So yes you can if the juno has a midi thru connection, but be careful for the MIDI loop!
