Hello all,
I am using an MPC 2000
I make old-skool acid and have my xbase-09 ( the new 909) but I need a 303 (can't afford one at the moment) so I am using rebirth instead.
I have figured out how to use the xbase09 as a controller through the mpc to record control tweaks on the 303's but I have not been succesful in figuring out how to change patterns or program the mpc to change the pattern banks. The rebirth manual mentions using "MIDI note numbers"
for example C1 is Note Number 36 ---when this message is sent it should send a message to 303 #1 in rebirth to change to Pattern 7.
I have attempted to program this message in the MPC under the MAIN SCREENS STEP area. I can't seem to find anywhere where I can manually input this type of message.
I have a Oxygen 8 Controller hooked into the mpc but haven't had any luck hitting these note numbers and getting rebirth to do what I want.
Anyone here ever achieve this using there mpc w/ rebirth? I really am trying to avoid using "song" mode in rebirth if possible.
Word.
