help eight output/digi inout board

yo what up everybody...aight i got my mpc 2kxl not too long ago n as i was **** around wit the sampler when i switch from analog to digital it flickers in and out from being fine to saying no digital signal carrier or somethin like that...my guess would be that the board is loose inside and maybe not reading all the way? any help would be appreciated much

if you dont have anything hooked up to the RCA line.... you will get that

rca line? do u mean the digital in/out?

it looks like a RCA hook up in the back of your MPC... u have to plug something up from the RCA output and send something that u wanna sample thru for it to show a reading... if nonthings not hooked up, it will give you that message

does your digital out work. mine has never worked and its really pisses me off. as i'd love to do stereo mixdowns via the spdif outs for max quality. and have noticed on other mpc thats it has a nice sheen to the sound when coming out of the spdif's as oppsoed to the analogue outs.

Yeah, I had a board where the digital I/O didn't work. Apparently it they can break down while the analog outs keep working.

my digital out works fine, but the 8-outs came with the MPC.

its not the 8 outs, we are talking about the Digital Outs that look like RCA hookups in the back

yeh man, my in's work fine for sampling from the pc. but i cant get any signal from the damm output. It say valid input detectedin the audiophile settings, but i cant get it to record and audio in SF.
