from an mc point of view that doc beat is type nasty kinda ish to break a muhfugga down to. didnt read the 11 pages of crap but i like that beat. i wanna hear some drumatic response death. wahtever yah beefin about fug it if some hot beats come out of it.

As far as what you wanted me to read, I can dig it. But you got to keep in mind in 93/94, my city was showing the East no love. And i'm sure the East was showing no love to us minus Dr. Dre. The blurring of lines between coasts didn't come into play till Big and Pac got murdered. After that, (the murders) all the networking took place and people from both coasts got more open minded. Thier was always a select few such as myself, who showed love for both zones of Hip-Hop even when it was unpopular, but we were a small minority back then.

Im'a end it like this though.. just like back when, nothing has changed. I'm still the minority in the 0-pound. I represent what I feel to be the authentic brand of Hip-Hop. All that means to me is, beats with soul, and rhymes with depth. If you can dig that concept, we share a common bond, if not, were polar opposites who need to stay out each others paths.

yo, those drums are killin me with the highs, it's like just the bad part of 12 bit, captured at a higher rate. mainly the snare and hats, that's not the crispy I know and love.

Was that the XL resampling at a lower bitrate? Sometimes that happens when you sample an SP-1200 into a 16 bit sampler, it just brings out the highs and makes the worst of the 12 bit come through louder. That's why recording 12 bit is a bit trickier, all the classic 12 bit stuff was done to tape, but as you know recording to digital is a different story. It's like knowing how to mic something right, knowing how to sample matters more in 12 bit.

I like this beat better than the others you posted, but I'd like to hear some of your stuff that has more care taken in the arrangement..
