:) Hi, I have created my song in song mode on mpc2000xl. I have the output board installed. Now I want to know how do I get my song to the multitracker and be able to mix some of the sounds individually. If my song is made from 60 different samples, how do I do this, Im confused. Theres undoubtedly something Im confused about. Does my whople song goto one track on the MT or several etc, someone please shed some light. Thanks Ben

really you should seperate every instrument ....ie; bass on one track, snare on it's own track, bass drum on it's own ..hihg hats on it's own ..etc etc ...that way you can eq individually or apply effects indiviually ... do you separate your stuff withing the mpc on it's own tracks ???

Yes on the mpc I do seperate every track, but how do you do that with a 16 track multitracker, thats what i dont understand. If the sequences on the mpc are using say 50 tracks/50 different samples( not all at the same time of course) how do you record this onto 16 tracks and keep the sounds seperate. I think Im lacking a basic understanding of how multitrackers work. Do you record like 8 at a time, mix and eq then bounce down to one track or something? thanks
