Why when I resample the sound comes out low and all my volumes and levels are up

EQ your sample before you resample it... :)

Do the same thing before you normalize the sample (if it needs to be normalized).

Also, make sure you have full level on or it will record the sample at whatever velocity you play it at (sometimes it turns out low).

I did da eq but I didn't try da full level

Turn Master level to 0 db.

i think its supposed to be a lower volume. hmm, wonder if the rec gain has any affect on resample. never tried turning the master ovol up either. i guess you mean turn it up during resample and then back to normal for play/seq'ing. makes sense to me, i'll have to give it a shot.

here's the recipe:

-set the master volume to 0
-set the pad volume to max after resampling

-input level does not affect resampled sound

-after resampling, turn off any master effects so the resampled part isnt running thru em twice
