wats the dffrence between the mpc 1000 and the 2000

i was thinkin of gettin a 1000 but i have a 2000...i mean it dosent make sense to have a big machine when the smaller one can still get da job done.....can someone please help me !!!!!!..and let me know if the 1000 is any good and can get the job done...cuz im a sample head

flogged my 2000 to buy a 1000, no pissing round with zip drives, smaller, built in effects, hook up with usb to my mac and keep my beats organised, no need to go to practice with 20 zip disks in a bag...

The mpc1000 is over-all better than the 2k

except

no track mixer
no MIDI local off


WHICH SUCKS

Please do a search or check the website and read up on each machine.
