Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I recorded a sample into the 2kXL and then i went to trim and edited some of it and discarded the shit i didnt want. I went to loop and turned on the loop and when I went to trim some more of it out it WOULD NOT let me change the end point at all in the trim menu. IT WAS LIKE LOCKED IN PLACE, the only way i could fix this is by reloading the wav file. So then i changed the end point and went into loop and turned it on but when i go back to the trim menu it AGAIN wont let me edit the end point. Is this some glitch?

I just did the exact same thing you described and I could edit my start/end points after trimming just fine. I had the loop ON just like said, the whole while.

you proably had the slection on fixed. this way it keep the current selection but you can move it back and forth within the waves margins. perfect if youve selected the first bar of a 2 bar loop. then slide it forward to the next.
