I was just checking out this record, Rare Earth, with a 21 min jam on the B side and there was a ten minute drum solo. i'm gonna chop the hell out of it...

i shouldn't be givin this one out but whatever, this forum helped me out incredibly. get the led zepplinII album. the 4th song on the second side "moby d*ck" has like a 3 or 4 minute drum and snare solo with other sounds included in it. i got a lot of different sounding drums from that track that were extremely useful

yeah there's a cannonball adderly album worth really really checkin called the cannonball quartet arranged by david axelrod with a huge drum break that the beatnuts used on there intoxicated demons

try looking for these comps:

they have beeen used manytimes

streetbeat records- has original breaks by original artist
i can't rember if there are 75 records in the set.
this comp came out in the 80's but it is all funky

steve miller band-all his albums are good , you can usally find them at garge sales, or at thift stores,

ELO-electric light orcestra- they have some very abscure beats and some good drums,

but really all you have to do is dig, dig,dig and dig some more.

i got a couple nasty breaks from Ripple 7"s. theyre dope if you can find em. but for real, like everybody else says, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, dig, and dig some more. get a portable record player and go hit up some thrift stores.
