sorry doc, this beat sounds like it could be the end credits from a video game.. i know there's lots of people who like these style of beats but i ain't one of them, i like the shyt to sound more organic.

i got to hand it to drumat!c - and this is no a$s kissing - he makes the best beats i've heard in the forums.

I thinks Drumat!c smokes it. nice one.

Actually I was feeling Doc's beat a lot more. He had a real nice melody. He did a lot more with the drum programming and overall programming. It sounded smoother. Docs drums sounded a lil distorted tho, and not in a good way, but the beat was good enough that I would overlook the mixing issue. That sample was used on "when I get free" by 2pac. I didn't know that was a prince sample. Hotness!

Drumatic has nice skills on the tables tho, but he does sound more amateur compared to Doc, IMHO. He has a good ear for samples. Lord Finesse used that sample for an interlude on one of his last lp's. It's an OK beat. Lots of nice tricks and 12 bit grime, but I wasn't really feeling it.

I would give this one to Doc hands down. He actually gave something I could feel on this one. I would actually bump this. "Sounds like the end credits of a video game," seriously? ahhaah that's funny, but not true...if it was...I'd play that video game like a mufucca. Keep doing your thing Doc.

honestly - listening to the beat i get the feeling that i've just rescued the entire galaxy or some shyt and now it's time to sit back and let the credits roll..
i didn't say there was anything wrong with video games, or video game music for that matter. all i'm saying is that IMO it's not the kind of stuff to bring to a beat battle. but that's just me, personally i can't get enough of those early 90's type beats.

and i think doc's beat sounded thin and cold compared to drumat!c's.

It was fun Drumat!c , BUT your definitely NOT on my level, B. No disrespect you have good stuff but don't let the internet and your friends get your head too big, especially if people aren't willing to pay good money for your craft. And that is a good marker for "Props" if an MC/business is willin' to do what it takes to use a producers beats. Keep doin' you and don't limit yourself to 1 style or equipment, actually if you did use Protools or any other computer program you would see some of the benefits of technology... Everybody has different styles and tastes of music. I personally like the style of beats DRUMATIC is doing...

YO much respect Drumatic.. but that sp1200 is one of your archived beats that have been aorund. I heard it sometime ago last year and had saved the MP3.. I rmeber at one point you had it on sale too for like $250. None the less 1 of my fav beats I heard u make... but shit..

Nice battle. I thought Drumatic's was a little more imaginitve with his choice of samples it, was hot. It was more battle orientated. Doc's track had a better sample, I liked the drum pattern a little better. If I had a choice to listen to one of them I would choose Drum's because of the intro, cuts, but if I had a choice to rhyme on one of these it would be Doc's. But it was a really good battle.. Nobody got smoked here. It would be hot if you guys could keep this up. Too many little battles on this forums, and most of the time its a landslide or really not worth listening either one in the first place. Just my opinion..
