do mpc1000's work w/ mac iBooks?

im not certain whether or not that question made sense, i was just wondering if they were compatible. im just tryin to find a way to make beats on the go.

well, that's what i figured, concerning that part. to be more specific, i was wondering if the 1000 is intertwineable w/ mac music makers i.e soundtrack pro.

im mainly choosing a mac over pc laptops due to everyone always saying that macs are much better for multimedia.

Yes they work with ibooks. When you plug in your mpc it comes up as a drive on the desktop. Best bet is to get a USB compact flash card reader....makes everything much faster and easier.

If youre using a program in your mac that supports midi, you can sync up your mpc

i know your probably wondering if you can plug via usb and use manipulate the mpc from the mac. NO the only interraction is the file storage and midi (note the MIDI is done through the MIDI connections not USB).
