I couldn't find this question in any ealier posts so here it is:

Is there any other way of programming the MPC1000 programs than keep jogging the data wheel though 100's of samples for each pad?

I have never had or worked on an MPC2000xl but it seems a whole lot easier to do programs on that model (from what I've seen on video tutorials)...

PS. I want zoning and and a seperate track velocity option on my MPC1000 :D

I already got MPC pad 187... It's alright but I was just wandering if it was possible to do it easier within the MPC1000....?

Btw: If I chopped a loop in recycle and want it to be programmed so that sample001 is pad A1, sample002 is padA2.... sample017 is pad B1 and so on, I can't just drag ALL the samples into mpc pad 187 at once, right?
From what I see I have to drag each sample to each pad - or else it will just mix up the samples and put them onto random pads. It takes up a whole lotta time too...
