The MPC 1000 is wack in my opinion

I dont realy like the 1000 its like a toy to me. I think it should have a battery pack in the bak so I could play that shit in class. Than it would be hot. The pads feel a lil funny to me and its mad limited yo. But it is an MPC still and it still has that tight sequencing. Thats just my opinion Id rather stick with the big boy 2000xl

Tru fam. My homeboy had the 1000. I didnt like it too much. I mean it cute and all. Im not dissin yall who got it. But if use the 2000xl and realy learn the ins and outs. theirs a lot of things that u cant do on the 1000. U cant even play samples in reverse on the 1000.

and you are welcome to have your opnion. I use a 1k and a 4k. They are both better than the 2k, but to each its own.

yea precisely.. to each there own.id rather the 1000 over the 2000 any day.. larger memory capacity no stinkin zip disks way more portable.. all plus's the fact it doesnt have reverse or delay irked me at first but i got over it.. reverse your samps in audacity or what have you .. as for delay well im still kinda hooped cuz both my effect racks dont receive midi clock in so i gotta do the ol whack ass caculations..

oh I might as well buy that mfc joint too cause I will be losing my high pass filter. And I gotta get some compressers cause I'll be missing the compression on the main outs that the 1k has. Oh and I"mma throw out my PC too. Who the flowers needs USB? especially when you have ALL the super advanced editing and sample mangling options of the 2xl. flowers ya'll, we done messed up and bought the wrong mpc.

Nah, the 100 will be a waste, cause it probably won't have reverse. Now if Akai made a pocket reverse rack to go along with it, that would be ill. It would be all I would ask for. I don't even care if it has pads or a sequencer. Just give me MIDI and THAT DAMN REVERSEEEEEEE!!!!!

i guess jacpot got ran up outta here. the one selling point the 1k has over the 2kxl is memory. i know you can say 32 but can you say 128MB?? it would be nice but i don't need timestretch, zoning, reverse and delay on the 1k. i know music. timestretch, i can do that on audacity (i can take any sample at any bpm and make it fit to my tempo) reverse and delay, i can do that when i track into nuendo.
