Quietly Tracking

On my 60 I noticed that the audio inputs don't turn on until I press sound-5 creating a slight noise. It's not very noticeable on the low input setting, especially if you have been sampling and creating for a few minutes but it is there. So before I track the beat to my recorder I reboot the machine so the inputs are off and noise is at a bare minimium. I don't know if this will work on the 60ii or not but it's worth a shot if you have a little noise in you mix.

havent had that problem with the 60II.

Musta been a bug they worked out before they put out the improved version of the 60.

I have a "special" mpc... It was delivered on a short yellow UPS bus... but if anybody wants to test to see when their audio inputs come on set your gain to high (this will make it easy to hear) and boot your machine then go to sound hit 5 and listen (preferably with headphones) to see if noise comes on. If it doesnt then I guess yours only comes on while recording a sample which is dope. Let me know yall.

It's the same on both MPC's. Your sample input monitor becomes active when you enter into sampling mode. No Need to reboot your machine, just go to the sampling screen and turn monitor to Off.

Don't worry, that one had me for a minute too. Instead of rebooting I used to turn the main outs down, then I noticed the monitor on off field.
