or read the backside of the Rec after witch instruments that`s been used.

I`ve recently fond an jazz record with a Graffity cover made in 76` with danish singer Karin krog & Archie chepp in mint condition for 30 swedish crowns ( 3 dollars)

My mans was smoking w/ madlib recently (seriously) and Madlib supposedly has like SEVERAL quasimoto albums recorded...but they are just chillin, i guess for personal listen...was him just messin around...something like that. that QUAS album does have a cult-like following.

producers nowadays are iffy..even my favs deter from their typical bangers sometimes..but ill add my 2 cents..

and what do y'all think about people like eminem producing? Is that strictly just because you are the illest and #1 selling rapper in history & affiliated w/ dre, you can just produce and make hot joints all of a sudden? His beats are simple, and bang...all of a sudden he is this sought after producer. not hating..jus questioning..

I'm starting to check for anything produced by Oh No! (Madlib's brother - has tracks on the second Declaime record, KaliWild, Wildchild's solo record, etc.)

I score anything on Def Jux.
(I'm actually not too happy with the RJD2 stuff though. Don't get me wrong, he has skills, and I respect him........but more than half his stuff sounds like Shadow meets Moby. Like it could be in some yuppie car commercial, like Moby's sh!t.
It doesn't have that ruff/rugged/raw vibe that I expect from DefJux.)

Check Aesop Rock's own production on his new record. Pretty damn good. Nice and weird too.
