Issues

What up mpc fam...i'm over here at the crib going through things with the mpc. 1... I created a sequence for a song yesterday and i saved it as a midi file type 1 cuase from my understanding this will reproduce the conditions of the data....but today when i went to load evrything there was nothing and i kept getting a wrong file message all i could load was my drum kit, so i open the drum kit folder to see if i accidently saved in there nothing, i'm trying to figure out what the hell the problem is , could it be the memory, the mpc, or the card reader i installed, or the Cf...i'm going to use another cf to see if the same thing happens. I tried to format a new card on the mpc and it wont even format.

did you save the sounds from the beat. The mid file wont save the sounds you sampled. I tend to do this with each beat. I never save using midi.
1. I save all sequences and songs
2. then I save all programs and sounds
3. if your using a synth of some sort you should do a bulk down of the info on your synth. I usually keep a sequence saved for it. i normally use sequence 10.
