When im in the mixer on the mpc and select individual outputs to assign to one of the 8 outs, It wont let me just pick 1. For example I have to pick 1/2 or 3/4. Im trying to get some stuff straight up mono. Is the only way to pull this off to use every other out?
example: I have bass drum on outpt 1/2 and I just want it on 1, so I only hooked up a cable going from output 1 running into digi002. So will I loose sound quality this way b/c I didnt run a cable from /2 as well? Basically Do I have to hook up both 1/2 b/c I want kd mono on output 1 then put snare on output 2 ect.
In case it helps im not running any effects in fxsend b/c Im aware effects on mpc tracks need to be recorded in stereo.
