Tutor...Anybody that can help!!!!

I've posted this same question twice with no help...i'm trying my best not to hound this forum but i need help or some direction. Tonight i created a song in the mpc and called myself saving it i did the saving of All programs& sounds/All sequences & songs thinking i saved it to my flash card i stepped away for the moment and came back to it and I get A F'in WRONG FILE FORMAT i've been having this problem the last two nights I formatted my card on the pc like i've read about on here I even tried to format a card on the mpc...nothing it dosen't even format, could it be my card reader
? cause my flash cards are good. The mp will read the drum kits saved on the flash but I can't save any sequences or songs for nothing...I don't want to bash the xl saying it's a pieace of crap cause i know it's hot, that's why i got rid of my 1000 for it but now i'm starting to regret it cause this situation is killing my work flow.......Help save a work flow donate some advice.

first of all calm down i do the same shyt i get so pissed i wanna break the shyt but what you can do is try useing a diffrent type of card or take it in for service. another thing i would suggest is that you load the new os verison or check to see what version you got and if it not the same then that might be the answer. when i first got my mpc in 99 up untill just recently i wasnt able to save over two floppy disk untill just recently i downloaded the new os now it runs like a champ it might just be a glitch try that first if all fails take it in to see what they say

Is the disk copy write protected? Is the disk full? Can you load from this disk to another disk from pc and see if that works. Circuit City has 32meg SD cards for $10.

Try saving a single sequence and program instead of ALL. I rarely use the ALL feature unless I'm using song mode. Try it this way and see if it works.

hhhmm...what type of CARD are u using?

I have os 1.2 and I'm using a sandisk extreme 256 and a dane-elec 256 CF cards Yes i can transfer from disk to disk. Man dj i did all that saving to a single sequence a nd program but i still get tyhat wrong file message. Could there be something wrong with the mp that caould be causing this. Today i ordered athe addoincs digi drive and when it comes i'm going to see if the the reader i have in there now could be the problem. I really appreciate you guy's help with this. I even tried os 1.14 and the mp didn't even see the drive anymore so i had to use the m-pcd 47 to reload os 1.2, the i put the card reader back in....i wish i could use the pcd but its write protected.
