Then you're not doing it right....See @ Scratch Magazine Issue 6...it can even beat Pro Tools for that matter (easy to work with) :?

What do YOU like? (what sequencer)....always open for other opinions.

I worked with Cubase SX(2) as well....liked that too. Only thing is, is that I own the mighty Yamaha 01x, and that works (strangely enuff) better with Logic (although Steinberg and Yamaha joined forces..)

Nah even the teachers got problems with it. Logic on Mac is the shabbiest combination ever. for me anyways. but it got sum of the nicest samples ive ever heard.

Iam mainly using fruityloops. got a mpc4k sum time ago but unfortunetly i find that sh!t aswel. dont know, probly coz iam sample based i find iam restricted, maybee all will be fine wen i get a synth, a keyboard and a pc to go with it.

go to song settings and you will find a whole host of sync otions - mtc, mmc etc... then just tell it what port to send from, make sure the mpc is on sync recieve and bobs your auntie's best friend.

How is that being a smart ass? 'Bob's your Uncle' is a British expression meaning you're good.

wtf is your problem, I though you were supposed to be 'Kool'.

Just a warning, it seems like Logic Express isnt able to send MMC through a specific box, the midi dialog box differs from the full version. peace.

I used to work with Fruity as well, but I own a Yamaha 01x, so I like to work with Logic cos it's compatible. Cubase is cool too, Fruity too (but when I wanted to do some more with my gear, Fruity could not keep up)

Steinberg and Yamaha joined forces so Cubase should work better with the 01x than Logic......but no..... Really strange sometimes..

without being a cock head - why didn't you tell us you had the Express version - then you would'nt have to ask the same (or similar) question twice.

You could check the "comparisons" page on apple to see what functions you have and haven't got with your version of the software.
